Mick is 60, born, bred and living in Leeds, and has been a Leeds United fan his whole life.
He works for Leeds City Council as the Chief Officer for Transformation and Innovation and is passionate about equality and diversity in his professional and personal life.
As such he has long been a campaigner on equality issues, including anti racist work, trade union issues and gender equality as well as LGBT+
This has seen him involved in campaigns in Leeds such as Rock Against Racism and ACT UP (AIDS Coalition to unleash power!) and helping to set up AIDS Advice, and later MESMAC, in the city.
In his role in Marching Out Together he hopes to connect the group with other LUFC fan groups, LGBT+ football fans nationally and internationally and other campaigns in Leeds
